Charlotte Ruby Group

RubyConf ended last night and it was tremendous. It was strange seeing so many people in person whose blogs I read and tools I use. It was like hanging out in the Ruby Pantheon for a few days. Also, over the course of the weekend, I got to talk to developers from Japan, Brazil and all over the US. There was a real sense of community there that is pretty uncommon these days.

Anyway, I'm excited to invite you all to Charlotte's first monthly hack night. The plan is to meet the second Tuesday of every month at Panera Bread (free wifi) in south Charlotte for an informal get together where we can talk, learn, hack and have fun. Bring your laptops and we'll hang out from 6:30 to 8:30.
