The Charlotte Ruby Group is Back!
September 28th, 2007
After a long hiatus, it's time to put the Charlotte Ruby Group back together. It's a great time to get involved too. With growing interest in Ruby in the area and the International Ruby Conference coming to Charlotte in November, you'll want to stay connected -- and this is where to do it.
I'd like to have a meeting in October sometime and I'm pretty open to suggestions on day and time at the moment. Be sure to sign up for the announcement list. At some point I'll also get an RSVP feature on this site.
Also, if your company is using Ruby, let me know and I'll add their URL to the sidebar.

on October 2nd, 2007 at 11:30 AM This is great Scott, thanks for stepping up and making this happen. I think an October meeting would be great, and don't forget rubyconf (http://rubyconf.org) is just around the corner. Looking forward to the meeting. Brian
on October 4th, 2007 at 09:13 AM Glad to see you here Brian. So, are you registered for RubyConf? I'd like to have a group lunch on Fri or Sat.
on October 4th, 2007 at 01:01 PM Yeah, I registered a few weeks ago. It's great to see this event coming to Charlotte. Be glad to meet you for lunch, just email me and I'll get you my contact information.
on October 9th, 2007 at 05:52 PM Hi Scott, I think it would be a fantastic idea if you can get some of the guest speakers to appear on a podcast. I can probably help with the effort since I am a bit of audio wizard. Let me know your thoughts. Unfortunately, I am not seasoned enough in Ruby and Rails at this point to ask the most appropriate and probing questions at this time. Just something to think about. I like to capitalize on opportunities when they are starring me in the face. GQ
